F.L.I.P 3.0: Film In The Park Returns with “A Night of Magic” African Cultural Experience

Film In The Park (F.L.I.P) is set to return for its third edition with an exciting new chapter of its outdoor cinema experience, as F.L.I.P 3.0: A Night of Magic – The Kaleidoscope African Experience takes centre stage on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Freedom Park, Lagos.

Building on the success and growing popularity of previous editions, F.L.I.P 3.0 promises to offer audiences a more immersive celebration of African cinema, culture, music, creativity and storytelling.

According to the Founder of Film In The Park, Tomiwa Precious Otun, the third edition represents a significant evolution for the platform as it seeks to create deeper and more engaging experiences for its audience.

“While celebrating the achievements of previous editions, F.L.I.P 3.0 marks the beginning of a new chapter, one that promises a richer, more immersive celebration of African cinema, culture, music, and storytelling,” Otun said.

She described F.L.I.P 3.0 as more than an outdoor film screening, noting that the event is designed to bring together filmmakers, film enthusiasts, creatives, culture lovers and members of the wider public for an unforgettable evening under the open sky.

“Guests can expect a carefully curated selection of films, engaging conversations, networking opportunities, music, food, games, and a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates the richness of African storytelling,” she added.

The organisers said the event will provide a platform for audiences to connect with African stories while also creating opportunities for filmmakers and other creatives to engage, network and showcase the diversity of the continent’s creative expression.
