Ardova Plc unveiled AP SuperMax Motor Oil into Nigerian Market on Thursday,29 of January,2026,a new lubricant engineered specifically for the realities of every Nigerian motorists. Speaking at the launch, Dr. Abiola Babatunde-Ojo, Deputy Managing Director of Ardova Plc, explained that AP SuperMax was developed in response to direct feedback from everyday users who need dependable engine protection without the premium price tag.
AP SuperMax is a monograde motor oil formulated for warmer climates and older engines. It offers protection against wear, rust, and harmful deposits, maintains viscosity at high operating temperatures, reduces oil consumption, and delivers consistent mechanical stability. Certified API SF/CG and SAE 40, the lubricant is suitable for a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including cars, buses, motorcycles, and generators.
“While Ardova is widely recognized for premium products, AP SuperMax reflects our commitment to bring performance, reliability, and affordability to all Nigerians,” Dr. Babatunde-Ojo said.
The product is now available nationwide through AP service stations, accredited distributors, and digital platforms, retailing at ₦3,750 per litre and ₦13,300 per four-litre pack.

Engineer Ibrahim Bamgbopa, Group Executive General Manager, Asset & Project Management, highlighted Ardova’s robust supply infrastructure, which includes over 650 distribution trucks, multiple terminals, European-standard blending plants, and an annual lubricant blending capacity of 150 million litres. According to him, this infrastructure guarantees consistent, uninterrupted nationwide availability.
He also cautioned that many Nigerians unknowingly use substandard base oils, a gap AP SuperMax is designed to close by offering authentic, high-quality engine protection at mass-market prices.
